OCT 25: The Ministry of Civil Aviation has reported substantial progress in the ongoing Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) 5.0, which is being implemented from October 2 to 31, 2025.
Under the leadership of Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Rammohan Naidu, the Ministry has made impressive strides toward achieving a cleaner, more efficient, and clutter-free work environment. As of now, 87% of public grievance redressal targets have been completed.
The Ministry has successfully weeded out 4,988 physical files and conducted 405 cleanliness drives across its offices, nearing its target of 480. Through these efforts, approximately 31,353 sq. ft. of office space has been reclaimed by disposing of redundant materials, e-waste, and scrap. The campaign has also generated ₹81,66,756 in revenue from scrap disposal.
Minister Rammohan Naidu chaired a comprehensive review meeting on October 9, 2025, with senior officers and organizational heads. Later, on October 13, he personally inspected the Ministry premises, interacted with staff, reviewed canteen and library hygiene, and reiterated the importance of integrating cleanliness into daily routines.
Drawing inspiration from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Swachh Bharat, the Minister emphasized adopting Swachhata not just as an activity but as a mindset—ensuring a workplace that is physically clean, digitally organized, and mentally positive.
The Ministry’s active participation in Special Campaign 5.0 reflects its ongoing commitment to transparency, efficiency, and a culture of continuous improvement.
