NOV 06: The Grand Finale of THINQ-25 – The Indian Navy Quiz concluded with great fervour and pride at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, on 5 November 2025. The event was graced by Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, who commended the participants for their knowledge, enthusiasm, and curiosity about India’s maritime heritage.
Themed “MAHASAGAR”, this year’s quiz reflected the Indian Navy’s enduring spirit of exploration and its commitment to fostering maritime awareness among young minds. After rigorous zonal and national rounds involving thousands of students, 16 schools from across the country advanced to the semi-finals, with eight of them making it to the prestigious Grand Finale.
The final eight contenders were Jayshree Periwal High School (Jaipur), Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Kannur), Subodh Public School (Jaipur), Shiksha Niketan (Jamshedpur), Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School (Chennai), Cambridge Court High School (Jaipur), Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre (Kanpur), and PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (Samastipur).
After an intense intellectual contest, Jayshree Periwal High School, Jaipur, emerged as the champion, while PM Shri JNV, Samastipur, secured the runner-up position.
Addressing the gathering, Admiral Tripathi highlighted the significance of nurturing curiosity, innovation, and maritime consciousness among students — essential for building the nation’s future leaders and thinkers.
The event was live-streamed on the Indian Navy’s official social media platforms, attracting enthusiastic nationwide participation. As THINQ-25 concluded, the Navy announced its anticipation for THINQ-26, promising another voyage of discovery and learning.
