Jammu, August 9, 2026: The Muay Thai Association of Jammu & Kashmir has appointed Advocate Rohit Bhagat as its Legal Head, with immediate effect from August 9, 2026. The appointment was made following a recommendation of the Association and a decision taken during its Annual General Meeting (AGM). Chief Patron Sahil Aggarwal and Association President Amit Singh welcomed Bhagat to the new responsibility.
Bhagat, a legal professional and leader associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), will advise the Association on legal and regulatory matters, safeguard its interests and support its lawful and effective functioning. The Association said his legal experience, leadership abilities and interest in sports are expected to strengthen its governance framework and contribute to the promotion and development of Muay Thai across Jammu & Kashmir.
