JUNE 15: Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, Shri Sachin Kumar Vaishya, conducted a comprehensive tour of Block Bhalwal to assess public services and reinforce administrative discipline. During the visit, he strongly emphasized the importance of punctuality, dedication, and efficient public service delivery among government officials and field staff.
The DC’s visit aimed to directly engage with ground-level administrative machinery and address any gaps in service implementation. Speaking with local officials, he underlined that public servants are entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring timely and transparent delivery of government services. He urged them to remain accessible to the people and maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
As part of the tour, DC Vaishya conducted a surprise inspection of the Sub-Divisional Hospital (SDH) in Bhalwal. The inspection focused on evaluating the hospital’s day-to-day operations, availability of essential services, and the overall quality of patient care. During the visit, he interacted with both medical staff and patients to understand the challenges and immediate needs faced at the facility.
Following his inspection, the Deputy Commissioner issued clear instructions to hospital administrators to improve operational efficiency, maintain hygiene, and ensure the availability of essential medicines and services. He also highlighted the need for courteous behavior from healthcare staff toward patients and their attendants.
The DC further called for improved coordination among departments to enhance the overall quality of governance in the region. He expressed his commitment to conducting more such visits to monitor the functioning of government institutions closely and address issues faced by the public in real-time.
