OCT 28: The DREAM School Project was inaugurated at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS), Kothibagh, marking a significant step in transforming the educational ecosystem of Jammu & Kashmir. Initiated in 2023, the project is a joint collaboration between the Government of Jammu & Kashmir and the Faizal & Shabana Foundation, aimed at providing global standard education and creating a progressive learning environment for students to explore their full potential.

The initiative embodies the government’s vision of ensuring that every child, irrespective of background, has access to quality education that nurtures creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. Through modern infrastructure, digital classrooms, and interactive learning modules, the DREAM School Project seeks to bridge the gap between traditional education and contemporary global standards.

Officials highlighted that this project is not merely about upgrading facilities but about reimagining the way students learn and teachers teach. It will serve as a model school, setting new benchmarks for other government institutions in the Union Territory.

The collaboration with the Faizal & Shabana Foundation brings in global expertise and innovative practices designed to empower both students and educators. By focusing on holistic development — including academics, life skills, and values — the DREAM School Project aims to prepare a generation of confident, capable, and compassionate learners ready to lead in an evolving world.

This initiative reinforces the government’s enduring commitment to inclusive and future-ready education, ensuring that every student in Jammu & Kashmir has the opportunity to dream big and achieve more.
