Jammu and Kashmir is showcasing its diverse tourism offerings and emerging travel opportunities at the prestigious World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, being held at ExCeL London from November 3 to 5.
The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department is participating in the international travel exhibition with two dedicated stalls, highlighting the Union Territory’s rich tourism potential, scenic destinations, cultural heritage and unique visitor experiences.
The Indian Pavilion was inaugurated by Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in the presence of Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
The participation provides Jammu and Kashmir with an important international platform to connect with travel professionals, tour operators, tourism investors and other stakeholders from across the world.
The exhibition also offers an opportunity to establish business partnerships and explore new avenues for tourism promotion. Representatives from the region are engaging with international tour operators and travel industry professionals to develop collaborations that could help attract more overseas visitors.
The encouraging response received by the J&K Tourism stalls reflects continued interest in the Union Territory as a travel destination. Through this international participation, the department aims to strengthen its global outreach, promote lesser-known destinations and present Jammu and Kashmir as a destination offering varied experiences throughout the year.
