Dec 5: The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Sangeet Natak Akademi, is set to host the 3rd edition of Krishnaveni Sangeetha Neerajanam in Vijayawada on 6 and 7 December 2025. Supported by Andhra Pradesh Tourism and the Department of Culture, the festival highlights the enduring richness of Telugu music and the state’s vibrant artistic legacy.

Theme: Celebrating the Richness of Telugu Music Traditions

This year’s festival theme underscores its mission to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s cultural identity, promote music tourism, support artisans and weavers, and establish Vijayawada as a leading destination for Carnatic music. The event will bring together renowned vocalists, instrumentalists, scholars and young talent from across the region.

The festival will be inaugurated by Shri Kandula Durgesh, Minister for Tourism and Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh, in the presence of elected representatives, senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, and state tourism authorities.

18 Concerts and 98 Artists Across Two Days

The Ministry of Tourism’s Regional Office (South) has been entrusted with planning and executing the mega event. Over the two days, audiences will experience 18 concerts featuring 98 artists, showcasing a rich spectrum of Carnatic compositions and traditional renditions.

All main performances will be held at Tummalapallivari Kshetrayya Kalakshetram, one of Vijayawada’s iconic cultural venues.

Special Dawn Presentation of Pancharatna Kritis

A highlight of the festival is the special dawn presentation of the Pancharatna Kritis at Durga Ghat on 7 December at 7:00 AM. This soulful tribute will be led by the acclaimed Malladi Brothers, joined by faculty and students of Government Music Colleges of Vijayawada and Guntur. The presentation symbolizes community bonding through devotional music.

  • Srikalahasti – 29 November 2025

  • Simhachalam – 1 December 2025
