March 13: Member of Legislative Assembly Balwant Singh Mankotia on Wednesday conducted a public outreach camp at Sudhmahadev, where a large number of residents from nearby villages gathered to highlight their grievances and developmental concerns.
During the interaction, people raised several issues related to basic amenities, including drinking water supply, road connectivity, power supply, educational infrastructure and healthcare facilities. Residents also pointed out challenges being faced in matters related to the Patnitop Development Authority.
The MLA listened patiently to the concerns of the people in the presence of officers from various stakeholder departments and assured them that their issues would be addressed in a time-bound manner.
Directions for Immediate Action
While reviewing the grievances, Mankotia directed the concerned officials to take immediate action on genuine public issues and ensure that necessary steps are taken to resolve them at the earliest.
Several matters raised by the residents were addressed on the spot, while others were forwarded to the respective departments with instructions for prompt follow-up action.
₹10 Lakh Announced for Development Works
On the occasion, the MLA also announced ₹10 lakh from the Constituency Development Fund for undertaking various development works in the Sudhmahadev area. The funds will be utilised to strengthen local infrastructure and improve public facilities in the region.
The outreach camp concluded with the MLA reiterating his commitment to ensuring better civic amenities and accelerating development initiatives across the Chenani constituency.
