BANDIPORA, MAY 11: On the eve of Mother’s Day, the Government Degree College (GDC) Ajas Thursday organized a special event to honor and appreciate mothers at the College auditorium.
The event featured various performances, including Na’at recitation, Pahari songs, Kashmiri songs, and a skit. Students showcased their skills and expressed gratitude towards their mothers through their performances.
The event was well-attended by students and faculty members. The program began with highlighting the significance of Mother’s Day and the importance of expressing love and appreciation for mothers.
Students recited soulful verses, reflecting their devotion and love and expressed gratitude to their mothers for instilling faith in them. The heartfelt recitation captivated the audience and set a serene ambience for the rest of the performances.
They also presented a series of Pahari and Kashmiri songs showcasing their melodious voices and played traditional musical instruments, adding a cultural touch to the event.
The audience was enthralled by the vibrant performances, tapping their feet and humming along. They were deeply moved by the profound expressions of love and respect towards mothers in the form of beautiful melodies.
The event concluded with the college Principal Prof. Dr Parveen Kouser felicitating all the participants with mementos.
