RAJOURI, MAY 18: The Pollution Control Committee (PCB) office Rajouri today organised a cleanliness and plantation drive at the Shadra Sharief Shrine under the Mission Life Program.
During the event, the participants took the Mission Life pledge, reaffirming their commitment to environmental protection. The event involved a cleanliness drive at the Shadra Sharief Shrine and a plantation drive at the Government Degree College and the shrine premises.
The event was graced by the presence of the officers and officials, including the DO PCC Rajouri, Anupam Kaul, Principal, Farooq Ahmed, staff and students/NSS volunteers of Degree College Thanamandi besides staff of PCC Rajouri, officials of Forest Protection Force (FPF), Social Forestry, and Forest Department were also present on the occasion.
The DO PCB, Anupam Koul also highlighted how communities can work together to promote environmental sustainability and create a better world for future generations.
