Doda Admin holds special health checkup Camp for employees

DODA, May 18: A special health checkup camp was today organised by the Health Department in the DC office complex here on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan.

 

More than 40 employees of the DC office were screened for diabetes, BP, Hypertension and other health issues. Sputum samples were also collected from the employees to test for Tuberculosis infection. It was informed that one person was found with abnormal BP, while 6 persons checked were having Hypertension symptoms.

 

Highlighting the importance of conducting such medical camps, the DDC said regular screening is must to stay fit and healthy. He advised the employees working in the district and the general public to go for regular health check-up, exercise daily, take healthy food, and keep track of the health record.

 

The DDC complimented the Health Department and Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr Hamid Zargar for conducting the health care camp at DC Office complex here.

 

He appealed to the employees and the general public to register for health schemes, including AB PMJAY SEHAT / Golden Card, to avail Rs. 5 lakh health insurance cover per annum and treatment benefits at both government and empanelled private hospitals free of cost.
