MARCH 2: In a significant development aimed at strengthening regional connectivity, the Ministry of Civil Aviation launched a Boeing 737 aircraft flight on 01 March 2025, operating between Kolkata, Hindon, and Goa. This initiative, part of the broader UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Naagrik) project, was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Civil Aviation Minister, Mr. Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, at Hindon, marking a landmark moment in the enhancement of civilian-military coordination.
Hindon Airport, strategically located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, holds immense significance due to its dual-use capabilities, military infrastructure, and the capacity to manage diverse air traffic.
