NSIC Pays ₹43.89 Crore Dividend to Government of India for FY 2024–25

The National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC), a Mini Ratna enterprise under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), has paid a dividend of ₹43.89 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2024–25.

The dividend cheque was formally presented by Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, Chairman and Managing Director of NSIC, to Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Minister for MSME, and Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State, in the presence of Shri S.C.L. Das, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, and other senior officials.

Highlighting the organization’s strong performance, Dr. Acharya stated that NSIC achieved a revenue of ₹3,431 crore and a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹146.30 crore, marking a 15.6% increase over the previous year. These achievements reflect NSIC’s continued commitment to strengthening India’s MSME ecosystem through innovation, efficiency, and enterprise support.

Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi commended NSIC for its vital role in empowering MSMEs and promoting entrepreneurial growth, especially through integrated support services such as credit facilitation, skill development, marketing assistance, and infrastructure support. He appreciated NSIC’s focus on inclusive economic growth and job creation across India.

Both the Minister and the CMD expressed confidence that NSIC will continue to serve as a catalyst for MSME development, contributing significantly to India’s journey toward becoming a globally competitive and self-reliant economy.
