Srinagar/Jammu, September 6, 2026: Jammu and Kashmir is preparing to welcome its first International Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir, scheduled from September 7 to 10, 2026, with film screenings and cultural events planned across Srinagar, Jammu and Gulmarg.
The four-day festival is expected to bring together cinema, culture and tourism, offering audiences an opportunity to experience films from different parts of the world while showcasing the diverse cultural landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.
Films From 41 Countries to Be Screened
A major attraction of the festival will be the screening of films representing 41 countries. The international participation is expected to provide local audiences, filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts with exposure to a wide range of stories, filmmaking styles and global perspectives.
