JSSC organises 2 orientation workshops on BLS

JAMMU, JANUARY 17: Jammu Skill & Simulation Centre (JSSC) at Regional Institute of Health & Family Welfare (RIHFW) conducted a two day hands on tool orientation workshop on Basic Life Support(BLS) for two batches.

 

The events were on 9th & 10th and 16 &17 January 2023 for Block Medical Officers and Medical officers of Basohli, Chowki Choura, Surankote, Nowshera, Manjakot, Chenani, Assar, Thathri, Mandi, Darhal, Kandi, Majalta, Basantgarh, Nagri Parole of Jammu Division.

 

Twenty participants attended these training programmes organised under the able guidance and supervision of Director General Family Welfare, MCH & Immunization, J&K and Director Health Services Jammu Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman,

 

Dr. Shelly Mahajan, Consultant Anesthesiologist, Master trainers of Health Department (Jammu Division) conducted the training sessions through lecture demonstration and power point presentation as well as simulation based hand on tool training to the participants with the prime aim to equip them to practice all emergency resuscitation steps including CPR and Airway management during emergent crises through live Demo on Sim Man by creating different case situations to make better understanding among the participants.

 

The live demonstration during the training program was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Manoj Bhagat, Principal RIHFW & Jammu Skill & Simulation Centre Nagrota and the simulation training was facilitated by Rajeev Gupta In-charge coordinator of skill lab.
