RAJOURI, APRIL 12: The District Election cell today organised a poster making competition here in Government Degree College Nowshera.
The poster making competition was organised by the Nodal Officer SVEEP, Narinder Kumar in collaboration with the Electoral Literacy Club of the college and the Department of Botany. A number of students participated in the event.
The competition was organised as a part of the Special Summary Revision 2023, and aimed to promote electoral literacy among the students. The event was a great success, with the students showcasing their creativity and talent through their artwork.
Principal GDC Nowshera, Prof K.K Sharma, extended his full support to the Election authorities and applauded the efforts of the Nodal Officer SVEEP and the Electoral Literacy Club in organising such an event. He expressed hope that similar activities will be organised in the near future to further promote electoral literacy among the students.
The District Election Officer Rajouri also praised the students for their participation and encouraged them to continue to engage in such activities to become active and responsible citizens of the country.
The event was a significant step towards promoting electoral literacy among the youth and empowering them with the knowledge and skills to participate effectively in the democratic process.
The success of the recent poster making competition at GDC Nowshera, organised as a part of the Special Summary Revision 2023, can be attributed to the efforts of two dedicated professors – Prof Rajat Sharma and Prof Pooja Sharma.
