SRINAGAR, MAY 02: The Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhury Mohammad Iqbal today visited different areas of zone Tahab of Pulwama and took stock of the agriculture scenario in the area.
Director Agriculture said that amid the prevailing weather scenario till now there is no damage to the agriculture crop in any district of the division. He said that under the supervision of the directorate of agriculture, the department is closely monitoring the situation and the field staff is working in close coordination with the farming community of the region.
He said that crop wise advisories are being issued to the farmers so that the necessary precautionary measures for different crops could be ensured.
Director Agriculture asked the farming community to strictly follow the guidelines and instructions by the field functionaries in order to protect different agricultural crops from any damage amid prevailing weather conditions.
