SEP 01: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today visited Nowshera, where he distributed appointment letters and welfare benefits as part of the government’s ongoing outreach and empowerment programs.
During the event, the Deputy Chief Minister handed over appointment letters to 40 Aayas and 4 Anganwadi Helpers, marking a significant step in strengthening the grassroots delivery of childcare and nutrition services. He highlighted the crucial role of Anganwadi workers and helpers in shaping the foundation of early childhood care and education across Jammu and Kashmir.
In addition to employment support, Surinder Choudhary also handed over motorized tricycles to specially-abled beneficiaries, underscoring the government’s focus on empowerment and mobility for differently-abled persons. He said that such initiatives reflect the administration’s commitment to ensuring dignity, accessibility, and equal opportunities for all sections of society.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister stressed the importance of impartiality, transparency, and prompt service delivery in governance. He called upon officials and field functionaries to ensure that schemes reach the intended beneficiaries without any discrimination or delay.
Surinder Choudhary also emphasized the principle of collective development, stating that inclusive growth is possible only when every individual and community participates equally in the progress of the Union Territory. He assured that the government is committed to creating a fair, transparent, and accountable system that prioritizes the welfare of the common people.
The event was attended by local representatives, senior officials, and community members, who welcomed the initiatives and expressed gratitude for the government’s efforts in strengthening grassroots institutions and supporting marginalized sections.
The Deputy Chief Minister reiterated that the government will continue to roll out employment opportunities, social welfare schemes, and infrastructure projects to uplift the socio-economic conditions of people in both urban and rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
