OCT 15:Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid heartfelt tributes to the martyrs of the 1965 Indo-Pak War during a mega rally held in Jammu, commemorating the Diamond Jubilee of India’s historic victory. The event brought together veterans, ex-servicemen, and hundreds of citizens who gathered to honor the valor and sacrifice of India’s armed forces.
In his address, the Lt. Governor lauded the indomitable courage and patriotic spirit displayed by Indian soldiers during the 1965 war, particularly in the crucial Operation Sindoor, which played a decisive role in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty. He expressed deep gratitude to the veterans and families of martyrs, describing them as “the pride of the nation and eternal symbols of bravery.”
Highlighting the enduring legacy of India’s armed forces, LG Sinha emphasized that the victory of 1965 was not just a military achievement but a testament to India’s unity, resilience, and courage.
