9 May: Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth reviewed the operational preparedness and infrastructure facilities at the Trivandrum Military Station during an official visit aimed at assessing defence readiness and support systems.
During the visit, the Minister interacted with senior military officials and received briefings on operational capabilities, security arrangements, and ongoing initiatives related to troop preparedness and infrastructure development.
Officials informed the Minister about the station’s role in maintaining regional operational readiness and supporting strategic defence activities. Discussions also focused on improving efficiency, coordination, and welfare facilities for armed forces personnel.
Sanjay Seth appreciated the dedication and professionalism of the armed forces, emphasizing the government’s commitment to strengthening India’s defence preparedness and modernisation efforts. He highlighted the importance of maintaining high standards of operational readiness in view of evolving security challenges.
