AUG 06: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 6, 2025, officially dedicated Kartavya Bhawan to the nation, describing it as a powerful symbol of India’s dedication to public service and the nation’s journey toward self-reliance and development.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister remarked that Kartavya Bhawan will accelerate the efficient delivery of government schemes and policies, ultimately giving fresh impetus to national development. He highlighted that the building not only represents modern infrastructure but also reflects the tireless contributions of “Shramyogis”, the workers who built it.
“This Bhawan represents our unwavering commitment to the path of duty. It is a testament to our resolve to serve the people and build a developed, Atmanirbhar Bharat,” said Shri Modi.
In a gesture symbolizing the government’s focus on sustainability, PM Modi planted a sapling within the premises of the newly inaugurated building. He also underlined the fact that Kartavya Bhawan was constructed using eco-friendly methods, with a strong emphasis on environmental conservation and energy-efficient design.
The Prime Minister took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and posted a series of messages about the occasion. He said, “Kartavya Bhawan is a symbol of our commitment to serve the people with integrity. It will fast-track governance and provide the momentum for our nation’s growth.”
