Amid circulating social media claims about an alleged aircraft crash in the Padder area, authorities in Kishtwar have categorically denied the reports, calling them false and misleading.
In an interaction, Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma clarified that there has been no incident involving the Indian Air Force in the Padder region. He urged the public not to fall prey to unverified information being circulated online.
The clarification comes after rumours of a supposed crash went viral on social media platforms, causing confusion and concern among residents. Officials stated that no such event has been reported by any government or defence agency.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of verifying information before sharing it, especially in sensitive matters related to security and public safety. He appealed to citizens to rely only on official statements and credible sources for updates.
