11 May: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to the nation on National Technology Day and paid tribute to the scientists, engineers, and researchers who played a key role in India’s 1998 Pokhran-II Nuclear Tests.
In his message, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of innovation, scientific advancement, and technological self-reliance in shaping India’s growth and global standing.
Recalling the historic Pokhran nuclear tests conducted on May 11, 1998, PM Modi said the achievement demonstrated India’s scientific capability, strategic strength, and determination.
