May 3: In a significant move to boost staff morale and ensure career progression, the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has granted time-bound promotions to 75 teaching and non-teaching staff across various cadres.
The promoted employees include 68 Masters, 5 Senior Assistants, and 2 Librarians. These promotions were approved after a thorough review by the department’s duly constituted promotion committee. The committee was chaired by the Director School Education Jammu and included the Joint Director (SE), Personnel Officer, FA/CAO, and AAO.
DSEJ officials stated that the promotions were processed based on established norms and eligibility criteria. They emphasized that such routine promotional exercises are crucial in ensuring timely recognition of service, improving efficiency, and maintaining a motivated workforce.
