JUNE 24: Minister Javed Rana reaffirmed the Jammu and Kashmir Government’s unwavering commitment to addressing public grievances in a timely and effective manner. During his recent visit to Mendhar, the Minister actively engaged with residents and listened to a wide range of issues raised by the local population.

The outreach session provided citizens a platform to voice their concerns, which included matters related to civic amenities, healthcare services, road infrastructure, and tribal welfare. Minister Rana emphasized that good governance begins with responsive administration and underscored the importance of listening to the people on the ground.

During the interaction, he assured the public that their concerns would not go unheard. He directed the concerned departments to take immediate and result-oriented action, stressing the importance of accountability and transparency in the functioning of the administration.

He also highlighted that resolving grievances is not just an administrative responsibility but a moral obligation of a government that believes in inclusive development and citizen-first policies. The Minister urged departmental officials to maintain regular outreach and to adopt a proactive approach in identifying and resolving public issues.

Specific grievances raised included the need for improved road connectivity in remote areas, availability of quality healthcare services in local health centers, better sanitation, and targeted support for tribal communities. The Minister reiterated that the government is working on mission mode to strengthen last-mile delivery of essential services and to uplift underserved communities across J&K.
