NOV 10:Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, conducted an inspection of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Jagti to review the healthcare facilities and services being delivered to patients. During his visit, Dr. Zargar held discussions with the Medical Superintendent regarding the hospital’s day-to-day operations and ongoing challenges related to infrastructure and manpower.
He assured that new medical equipment, including a Digital X-Ray machine, Dental X-Ray, CBC Analyzer, and Generator, would be installed shortly to enhance diagnostic and treatment facilities. Dr. Zargar further informed that work on establishing a Dialysis Centre at SDH Jagti would commence soon, benefiting residents of Jagti and adjoining areas by providing critical healthcare services locally.
The Director also inspected key hospital sections such as the Emergency Room, Emergency Ward, and NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases) Section, where he interacted with the staff members. He emphasized maintaining a patient-friendly approach, urging all medical and paramedical staff to deliver healthcare services with utmost compassion, care, and dedication.
Appreciating the hospital team for their continued efforts, Dr. Zargar encouraged them to uphold the spirit of public service and continue striving for excellence in patient care. The visit aimed to ensure that SDH Jagti continues to evolve as a reliable healthcare facility for the community.
