SEP 30: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), through its Management Training Institute (MTI), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu to collaborate on Executive Education Programmes aimed at developing future-ready leaders. The MoU was formalized on September 29, 2025, at SAIL’s Corporate Office, Ispat Bhawan, New Delhi.
This partnership reflects SAIL’s commitment to nurturing capable leadership capable of navigating an evolving business landscape. The collaboration will focus on strengthening organizational capacity, adopting global best practices, and advancing leadership excellence to contribute to nation-building.
The MoU was signed by Shri Sanjay Dhar, Officiating Executive Director (HR-L&D), MTI, SAIL, and Cmdr Kesavan Baskkaran (R), Chief Administrative Officer, IIM Jammu, in the presence of Shri K. K. Singh, Director (Personnel), SAIL. Also present were Shri B. S. Popli, Executive Director (HR), SAIL, and Dr. Rajesh Sikka, IIM Jammu.
Through this collaboration, both institutions aim to provide high-quality executive education programmes that equip professionals with strategic, analytical, and managerial skills. The initiative is expected to enhance leadership capabilities across sectors, preparing individuals to meet the challenges of a dynamic global business environment while reinforcing SAIL’s vision of building a talent-driven organization.
