“From Earth to Orbit”: Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla Opens VR Theatre Showcasing Space Exploration

Jan 17:Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla today inaugurated a Virtual Reality Theatre and Panel Exhibition titled “From Earth to Orbit: Exploring Space Together” in New Delhi, marking a significant step towards promoting scientific curiosity and space awareness among young learners and the general public.

The immersive VR theatre has been designed to offer visitors a first-hand experience of space exploration, combining cutting-edge virtual reality technology with educational content on astronomy, orbital missions, and human spaceflight. The accompanying panel exhibition highlights humanity’s journey from Earth to space, global scientific collaboration, and India’s growing role in the space sector.

During the inaugural event, Group Captain Shukla shared his experiences from the Axiom-4 mission, providing students and attendees with rare insights into life and work aboard space missions, astronaut training routines, and the challenges faced during orbital operations. His interaction with nearly 400 students from various schools turned the event into an inspiring learning platform.
