NOV 15: Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Shri Jitin Prasada inaugurated the MeitY Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF 2025) held at Bharat Mandapam. The pavilion has quickly become a major attraction, with visitors exploring its vibrant showcase of India’s growing digital capabilities and AI-driven transformation.
The MeitY Pavilion brings together three thematic zones—Digital India, IndiaAI, and MyGov—offering an immersive experience of the nation’s digital public infrastructure, inclusive governance mechanisms, and responsible artificial intelligence ecosystem. As part of the run-up to the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, the IndiaAI Zone was formally unveiled, highlighting India’s journey “from Action to Impact” in the field of AI for social good.
Shri Jitin Prasada toured the IndiaAI pavilion’s dedicated experience area, which illustrates the seven strategic pillars of the IndiaAI Mission: AI Kosh, Applications, Future Skills, Startups, Compute, Foundational Models, and Safe & Trusted AI. He interacted with visitors and the IndiaAI team, expressing enthusiasm about India’s rapid progress in artificial intelligence and encouraging continued innovation.
The pavilion also showcases a variety of initiatives leading into the India-AI Impact Summit 2026. Key highlights include the Global Impact Challenges—AI for All, AI by HER, and YUVAi—with a combined prize pool of up to ₹6 crore, offering mentorship, investor access, and cloud credits. Additional features include the Research Symposium on AI and Its Impact, the IndiaAI–IEA Call for Abstracts, the AI Expo preview, and IndiaAI Tinkerpreneur, a national bootcamp that nurtures AI skills among school students.
Overall, the MeitY Pavilion reflects India’s commitment to using technology for inclusion, innovation, and global collaboration. Visitors can explore real-world AI applications and discover how India is building a citizen-first, future-ready digital economy.
