Minister Sakeena Itoo Holds Public Darbar in Kulgam, Promises Swift Redressal of Grievances

SEP 14:In a strong display of participatory governance, Minister Sakeena Itoo held a massive Public Darbar at K.B. Pora in Kulgam, where she listened patiently to people’s concerns and assured them of timely redressal. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from residents who voiced issues related to civic amenities, employment, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister said that the government is committed to providing responsive, transparent, and accountable governance at the grassroots level. She stressed that Public Darbars serve as a vital bridge between citizens and administration, ensuring that no grievance goes unheard and that every section of society is included in the development journey.

On the healthcare front, Sakeena Itoo inaugurated a new medical Analyser at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) K.B. Pora. She noted that this modern diagnostic facility will significantly enhance healthcare services in the area, enabling timely and accurate medical investigations for patients. The Minister reaffirmed that strengthening healthcare infrastructure, particularly in rural regions, remains a key priority for the government.

The Minister also assured citizens that the administration is focusing on job creation, youth empowerment, and effective implementation of welfare schemes. She urged officials to work with greater efficiency and commitment in addressing people’s needs and stressed that welfare benefits must reach the last person in the queue.

People of K.B. Pora and adjoining areas appreciated the government’s outreach initiative, describing the Public Darbar as an effective platform for direct interaction and solution-oriented governance. They welcomed the inauguration of the new health facility, terming it a major step towards improving local healthcare.
