May 3: The Government of India has opened the nomination process for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2025, a national award honouring exceptional achievements by children across the country. The last date for submitting nominations is 31st July 2025, and all entries must be submitted online via the official Rashtriya Puraskar Portal at https://awards.gov.in.
Children aged 5 to 18 years (as on 31st July 2025) are eligible for nomination under six categories: Bravery, Social Service, Environment, Sports, Art & Culture, and Science & Technology. Nominations can be made by individuals, institutions, or through self-nomination.
Applicants must register or log in on the portal with basic details such as name, date of birth, contact information, and Aadhaar number. After registration, users should select “Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025” under the Ongoing Nominations section and proceed to submit the application.
The application form includes nominee information, a 500-word narrative highlighting the achievement and its impact, supporting documents (up to 10 in PDF format), and a recent photograph in jpg/jpeg/png format. Applicants may save drafts and make edits before final submission. Upon submission, a downloadable copy of the application will be provided for reference.
The award is presented annually by the President of India to celebrate the excellence and spirit of India’s youth and to inspire other children to contribute meaningfully to society.
