AUG 11: The border district of Poonch transformed into a canvas of saffron, white, and green as residents, students, and officials united to mark Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 under the umbrella of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The initiative, aimed at fostering emotional connection with the Tricolour, turned into a vibrant public movement in the region, drawing people from all walks of life.
From the early hours of the day, lanes and marketplaces of Poonch were lined with the national flag, fluttering gracefully in the breeze. Participants, both young and old, proudly carried the Tricolour as they marched in rallies, sang patriotic songs, and chanted slogans of unity and pride. The sight of hundreds of flags waving in unison created a powerful visual of national solidarity.
Local schools organised cultural performances, including traditional dances, skits, and musical renditions, all themed around India’s struggle for freedom and its journey of progress. Government officials, Panchayati Raj Institution members, and community leaders joined the public in reiterating the importance of safeguarding the ideals enshrined in the Constitution.
In their addresses, speakers highlighted that Har Ghar Tiranga is more than a campaign—it is a reaffirmation of India’s unity in diversity. They urged the youth to carry forward the spirit of sacrifice, responsibility, and dedication towards nation-building.
