NOV 01: As part of the Special Campaign 5.0 focused on Swachhata, efficient record management, and reducing pendency, senior officials of the Ministry of Law and Justice conducted a review of the ongoing weeding-out activities of old files and records.

On October 29, 2025, Secretary Dr. Rajiv Mani, along with Dr. Manoj Kumar, Shri R.K. Pattanayak (Additional Secretary and Nodal Officer), and Dr. K.V. Kumar, visited the Department’s Record Room to assess the progress and implementation of best practices under the campaign.

During the inspection, Dr. Rajiv Mani personally demonstrated the correct and safe use of the shredding machine, ensuring that all procedures were being carried out securely and efficiently. His direct involvement reflected active leadership, commitment to transparency, and a hands-on approach to administrative reforms.

The Secretary appreciated the dedication of the staff engaged in the campaign and encouraged them to continue their efforts in promoting cleanliness, efficiency, and good governance. He emphasized that the initiative serves as a model for systematic record management and reflects the Ministry’s broader goal of enhancing organizational transparency and accountability.
