Minister Javed Ahmed Rana Reviews Tribal Welfare Measures Amid Flash Flood Aftermath in J&K

SEP 05: In response to the widespread devastation caused by recent flash floods across Jammu & Kashmir, Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, held a high-level meeting with Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo to review the current status of tribal welfare schemes and development projects.

The meeting focused on enhancing inter-departmental coordination to ensure that ongoing and new initiatives aimed at supporting tribal communities are implemented efficiently. Minister Rana expressed grave concern over the difficulties faced by affected tribal populations and called for the immediate rollout of rehabilitation measures announced by the Government.
