AUG 17: The Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush, is set to organise its 30th National Seminar on the theme “Management of Illness and Wellness in Paediatrics through Ayurveda” on 18–19 August 2025 at the Scope Complex Auditorium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
The two-day event will bring together scholars, practitioners, researchers and students from across the country to exchange expertise and discuss both traditional and evidence-based Ayurvedic practices aimed at improving child health and holistic wellness.
The seminar is part of the Government’s wider effort to promote Ayurveda and traditional medicine as key components of a healthy society. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has repeatedly stressed that Ayush is not just a medical system, but a complete philosophy of life that can protect and nurture future generations when integrated with modern healthcare practices.
Union Minister Shri Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Ayush, has welcomed the initiative, stating that Ayurveda provides a strong foundation for preventive and promotive paediatric healthcare. He expressed confidence that the seminar will enrich participants and foster innovation and collaboration in child-centred Ayurveda research.
Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, emphasised that the gathering offers an excellent opportunity to bridge classical Ayurvedic knowledge and the current healthcare needs of children. Vaidya Devinder Triguna, President of the Governing Body of RAV, will also participate in the deliberations.
Key highlights include scientific paper presentations, poster sessions, and interactive discussions on paediatric preventive care. Registered delegates will receive credit points and participation certificates.
RAV has invited all academicians, practitioners and students interested in Ayurveda to register and contribute to this national effort to strengthen holistic paediatric healthcare
