SEP 02: Minister Satish Sharma today visited Chowki Choura to take stock of the situation in areas severely affected by recent floods. During his visit, he interacted with local families who have borne the brunt of the calamity, listening to their concerns and assuring them that the government is fully committed to supporting their recovery.
Sharma conveyed heartfelt sympathies to those who have lost their homes or suffered damages and stressed that immediate relief measures are being prioritized. He announced that rehabilitation of affected households, along with restoration of essential services such as roads, electricity, and drinking water supply, will be taken up on a war footing.
The Minister highlighted that the administration has already mobilized its teams and resources to ensure that no family is left unattended. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the safety and well-being of every household in the region, noting that long-term measures are also being planned to strengthen disaster resilience.
