THINQ 25 Brings Together Young Minds to Celebrate India’s Oceanic Legacy

NOV 04: The Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, is all set to host the Semi-Finals and Grand Finale of THINQ 2025 – The Indian Navy Quiz on 4th and 5th November 2025.

This year’s edition of the prestigious national-level quiz carries the theme “MAHASAGAR”, celebrating India’s deep-rooted maritime heritage, strategic vision, and oceanic identity. THINQ 25 embodies the Indian Navy’s spirit of exploration, excellence, and commitment to fostering maritime consciousness among young minds across the country.

Following multiple regional rounds held nationwide, 16 schools representing the North, South, East, and West zones have advanced to the Semi-Final stage. These include Cambridge Court High School (Jaipur), Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School (Chennai), DAV Public School (Bhubaneswar), Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Kannur), K L International School (Meerut), Sainik School (Kodagu), and others. The 32 semi-finalists will compete for the coveted THINQ 25 Trophy, demonstrating their intellect, teamwork, and knowledge of India’s maritime legacy.

The event aims at “Charting India’s Maritime Mindscape” by encouraging students to explore the nation’s seafaring traditions, contemporary naval power, and the strategic importance of the seas in shaping India’s destiny.

The Semi-Finals and Grand Finale will be live-streamed on the Indian Navy’s official YouTube and Facebook pages, enabling viewers nationwide to witness the competition and the enthusiasm of young participants.

As a flagship outreach initiative of the Indian Navy, THINQ 2025 continues to engage, educate, and inspire the next generation, instilling in them a sense of pride and awareness about India’s maritime domain and its pivotal role in the nation’s growth and security.
