Jan 10: The second edition of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 commenced at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, marking a significant step in the Government of India’s continued efforts to place youth at the forefront of national development and leadership.
Addressing the gathering, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse, emphasised that nation-building demands the active participation of young citizens, whose ideas, energy, and leadership will play a decisive role in shaping India over the next 25 years. She highlighted that the aspirations of a developed India—Viksit Bharat—can only be realised when youth are empowered to lead from the front.
Recalling the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, the Minister said that youth are the real strength of the nation and that when organised and guided with purpose, they possess the power to make even the impossible achievable. She underlined the importance of collective action, discipline, and vision in transforming youthful energy into constructive nation-building efforts.
Welcoming the launch and rapid growth of the MY Bharat initiative, Raksha Nikhil Khadse noted that over two crore youth from across the country have already registered on the platform. She urged young participants to carry the initiative forward in colleges, universities, and districts, encouraging wider participation to nurture a strong sense of national commitment, civic responsibility, and patriotism.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 serves as a key platform for engaging young leaders, innovators, and changemakers, reinforcing the Government’s resolve to nurture leadership, innovation, and democratic values among youth. Through dialogue, collaboration, and shared vision, the initiative aims to prepare India’s youth to shoulder greater responsibilities in governance, social transformation, and economic growth.
As the dialogue progresses, it is expected to inspire a new generation of leaders who will actively contribute to India’s journey towards becoming a developed, inclusive, and globally influential nation.
